French Standard PACS Agreement (Cerfa 15726) in short
Cerfa 15726*02 is the standard PACS agreement. It is a ready-made contract that both partners can use instead of writing their own. They choose the level of material support and the property regime (separate or joint ownership), then sign. Using it is optional.
| Issued by | Ministère de la Justice (formulaire diffusé par Service Public) |
|---|---|
| Current version | 15726*02 (checked 2026-10-25) |
| Who fills it in | Both future partners who choose the standard agreement, together. One agreement covers both. |
| Who receives it | The civil registrar of the town hall of the shared residence (or the consular officer abroad), who endorses it at registration. It is then returned to the partners. |
| Where to send it | Attach it to the joint PACS declaration (cerfa 15725) and present it at the town hall of the shared residence, or at the embassy or consulate. Service Public says the registrar keeps no copy: the partners keep the agreement. |
| Deadline | No deadline. It is presented when the PACS is filed or registered. |
| Fee | Free. A notary can also draft the agreement, but Service Public says that service is paid. |
