Your PDF is never uploaded
PDF Editor Hub runs in your web browser. When you open a PDF, it is read, edited and saved on your own device. We do not receive, store or see your documents, the text you type, your signatures or your passwords.
What is downloaded to your device
To work, your browser downloads the editor's code, fonts and, if you choose them, language packs. Language packs and the list of installed packs are kept in your browser's storage so you do not download them again. You can remove them from the Languages menu or by clearing your browser data.
Services that see your connection
- Cloudflare delivers the website and protects it from attacks. Like any web server, it processes your IP address and basic request details.
- Our hosting server keeps standard web server logs (IP address, browser, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.
- jsDelivr delivers the text recognition engine, only if you edit a document whose text has to be read from the image.
- Google Fonts delivers the handwriting font used for typed signatures.
- Google Analytics receives anonymous visit statistics, as described below.
These services receive your IP address when your browser fetches files from them. They do not receive your PDF.
Visit statistics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which features people use, for example that a PDF was opened or downloaded. It never receives your PDF, its contents, its file name or anything you type. In the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it runs without cookies. Elsewhere it may set analytics cookies; you can block them in your browser settings at any time.
No accounts, no ads
